December 10 2019 Uncertainty in AI Situations: A Stanford HAI-Sponsored Workshop

Come and join our brainstorming workshop on December 10th 2019, from 10am to 4pm! In "Uncertainty in AI Situations", we'll focus on ambiguity and uncertainty in Artificial Intelligence through a humanistic lens. We'll consider how literary techniques like satire and irony work to see if our understanding of modes of ambiguity can inflect our approach to AI; and we'll consider how we identify and describe colour--that most uncertain of categories, building on work completed in the Text Technologies project, "Global Currents".
