Dear Madam,

I am advised by Mr.Karl Palisa, of Troppauerstr, that your sister was recently enquiring about a small upright Pianoforte on your behalf, and Mrs.Januschke, has suggested that I might be of some use to you in this matter.

As I have these instruments in London, I should be very pleased indeed to give you every possible assistance in choosing an instrument, and if you will be so kind as to make an appointment at your convenience, I will call and see you .

My Principals, Messrs.August Forster, are quite the most successful manufacturers of the small type of upright Pianoforte, and the tone of them is quite unexcelled, in any other make, and I can give you the definitie assureance that you will find them in evry respect, musical instruments of the highest grade.

Will you therefore let me hear further, when I can meet you?.

With Compliments meantime,

Yours Faithfully,

Sydney E Ray [signed]
