My dearest Evelyn

I am posting this on Saturday morning as I want my good wishes to be one of the first you will receive for your Birthday. Very many happy returns of that day and may every thing you wish be yours. I shall never be able to thank you for all the kind deeds you have done for Freddie and me during this trying year. It has been good of you

Accept the enclosed cheque from me, and I hope you will get something for your very own self in remembrance of your Birthday.

With much love and every good wish that you will have a happy and prosperous year.

Ever your very effectuate Aunt

Edith S.H.Harenc
